I, QUENTIN BRYCE, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000.

1              Name of Regulations
                These Regulations are the Education Services for Overseas Students Amendment Regulations 2011 (No. 1).
2              Commencement
                These Regulations commence on the day after they are registered.
3              Amendment of Education Services for Overseas Students Regulations 2001
                Schedule 1 amends the Education Services for Overseas Students Regulations 2001.
Schedule 1        Amendments
(regulation 3)
 
[1]           Regulation 6.01, subregulation 6.02 (1) and paragraph 6.06 (5) (c)
omit
an offence against subsection 104 (1) or section 105 of the Act
insert
an offence to which section 106 of the Act applies
[2]           Paragraph 6.13 (a)
omit
contravened subsection 104 (1) or section 105 of the Act
insert
committed an offence to which section 106 of the Act applies
