I, QUENTIN BRYCE, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Act 1976.

1              Name of Regulations
                These Regulations are the Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Amendment Regulations 2011 (No. 1).
2              Commencement
                These Regulations commence on the day after they are registered.
3              Amendment of Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Regulations 2007
                Schedule 1 amends the Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Regulations 2007.

insert
5A           Additional township areas vested in the Tiwi Aboriginal Land Trust (Act s 3AB (3))
                For subsection 3AB (3) of the Act, the areas of land in the Northern Territory mentioned in the following table are prescribed as a single township in relation to the Tiwi Aboriginal Land Trust.

The parcel of land on Melville Island with an area of 544.4 hectares, more or less, being Northern Territory Portion 7087(A), delineated on Survey Plan S2010/230
