Variation to Licence Area Plan for Bundaberg Radio – No.1 of 2011
1. Enabling legislation
The Australian Communications and Media Authority makes this instrument under subsection 26(2) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.
2. Name of Instrument
This instrument is the Variation to the Licence Area Plan for Bundaberg Radio – No. 1 of 2011.
3. Commencement
This instrument commences the day after it is registered.

4. Variation
The Licence Area Plan for Bundaberg Radio determined by the Australian Broadcasting Authority on 5 February 1998 is varied as follows:
(a) on the title page omit the words “FEBRUARY 1998”;
(b) number each of the clauses in the plan consecutively as clauses (1) and (2);
(c) omit clause (2) and substitute the following clauses:
(2) Three commercial radio broadcasting services, one community radio broadcasting service, five national radio broadcasting services, one medium power open narrowcasting radio broadcasting service and one high power open narrowcasting radio service are to be available in the Bundaberg area described at Attachment 1.1 to this plan with the use of the broadcasting services bands. The characteristics, including technical specifications, of the services that are to be available in the area described at Attachment 1.1 are set out in Schedule One and Attachments 1.2 -1.12 to this plan.
(3) One community radio broadcasting service is to be available in the Bundaberg area described at Attachment 2.1 to this plan with the use of the broadcasting services bands. The characteristics, including technical specifications, of the service that is to be available in the area described at Attachment 2.1 are set out in Schedule Two and Attachment 2.2 to this plan.
(4) A reference in this plan to a schedule or an attachment includes a reference to a schedule or attachment as amended from time to time.
(d) immediately before Shedule One:
(i) omit the heading “SCHEDULES”;
(ii) omit the words “Each of the Schedules sets out” and all eight paragraphs marked with dots points that follow;
(e) omit Schedule One and substitute Schedule One to this instrument;
(f) immediately following Schedule One:
(i) omit the asterisk and the paragraph immediately following the asterisk;
(ii) omit the heading “Status Column” and the two paragraphs immediately following the heading; and
(iii) omit the heading “Frequency Column” and the paragraph immediately following the heading;
(g) insert Schedule Two of this instrument immediately after Schedule One;
(h) omit Attachments 1.1 to 1.11; and
(i) insert Attachments 1.1 to 2.2 of this instrument.
