Exemption — Christopher Thomas Keating
1          Duration
                 This instrument:
(a)   commences on 1 March 2011; and
(b)   stops having effect at the end of 30 April 2011.
2          Application
                 This instrument applies to the initial command instrument rating test to be undertaken by Christopher Thomas Keating, Aviation Reference Number 796433 (the applicant).
3          Exemption
                 The applicant is exempt from compliance with regulations 5.14, 5.16 and 5.18 of CAR 1988 to the extent mentioned in Schedule 1 when undertaking an initial command instrument rating test.
4          Condition
                 The exemption is subject to the condition mentioned in Schedule 2.
Schedule 1          Extent of exemption
              The exemption extends only to the directions under regulations 5.14, 5.16 and 5.18 of CAR 1988 that are contained in Appendices I and II of Civil Aviation Order 40.2.1.
Schedule 2          Condition
              The initial command instrument rating test must be conducted in a level D full flight simulator.
