I, QUENTIN BRYCE, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following regulation under the Corporations Act 2001.

1              Name of regulation
                This regulation is the Corporations Amendment Regulation 2012 (No. 7).
2              Commencement
                This regulation commences on the day after it is registered.
3              Amendment of Corporations Regulations 2001
                Schedule 1 amends the Corporations Regulations 2001.

[1]           Paragraph 2C.1.03 (d), including the note
substitute
               (d)    making an offer that satisfies paragraphs 1019D (1) (a) to (d) of the Act;
                (e)    making an invitation that, were it an offer to purchase a financial product, would be an offer that satisfies paragraphs 1019D (1) (a) to (d) of the Act.
Note   See subsection 1019D (1) of the Act for a description of unsolicited offers to purchase financial products off-market.
