I, MARK BUTLER, Minister for Mental Health and Ageing, make this Determination under subsection 44‑14(6) of the Aged Care Act 1997.

1              Name of Determination
                This Determination is the Aged Care (Residential Care Subsidy – Amount of Enteral Feeding Supplement) Determination 2012 (No. 1).
2              Commencement
                This Determination commences on 1 July 2012.
3              Revocation
   The Aged Care (Residential Care Subsidy — Amount of Enteral Feeding Supplement) Determination 2011 (No. 1) made by the Minister on 17 June 2011, also known as F2011L01159, is revoked.
4              Enteral Feeding Supplement
         (1)   Subject to subsection (2), the amount of enteral feeding supplement payable in respect of a day is:
(a)           for bolus feeding — $16.39;
(b)          for non bolus feeding — $18.42.
         (2)   Where the actual cost to the approved provider of providing enteral feeding to the care recipient is equal to, or more than, 125% of the applicable amount referred to in subsection (1) (i.e. $20.49 for bolus feeding and $23.03 for non bolus feeding), the amount of enteral feeding supplement payable in respect of a day is an amount equivalent to that actual cost.
