I, Joseph William Ludwig, Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, make the following order under regulation 3 of the Export Control (Orders) Regulations 1982.

1              Name of order
                This order is the Export Control (Fees) Amendment Order 2012 (No. 1).
2              Commencement
                This order commences on 1 July 2012.
3              Amendment of Export Control (Fees) Orders 2001
                Schedule 1 amends the Export Control (Fees) Orders 2001.

14            Imposition of fees
         (1)   Fees are imposed in accordance with this Part for the performance of services in respect of the following goods:
                (a)    grains (whether prescribed grains or not);
               (b)    plants;
                (c)    plant products.
         (2)   A fee imposed in accordance with this Part is payable by the person for whom the services are performed.
15            Inspection services
         (1)   The fee for an inspection service is $36 for each quarter hour.
Examples
1   Inspecting goods.
2   Booking inspection services.
3   Providing reports and information.
4   Conducting an audit.
         (2)   However:
                (a)    the maximum amount of the fee for a day (not including overtime) is $1 152; and
               (b)    the maximum amount of the fee for a week (not including overtime) is $5 760.
