The AUSTRALIAN COMMUNICATIONS AND MEDIA AUTHORITY makes this Determination under paragraphs 102C (2) (b) and 102D (2) (b) of the Radiocommunications Act 1992.

1              Name of Determination
                This Determination is the Radiocommunications (Digital Radio Multiplex Transmitter Licences – Application Fee) Determination 2012.
2              Commencement
                This Determination commences on 1 July 2012.

3              Revocation
The following instruments are revoked:
(a)      the Radiocommunications (Foundation Category 1 Digital Radio Mutliplex Transmitter Licence – Application Fee) Determination 2008; and
(b)      the Radiocommunications (Foundation Category 2 Digital Radio Multiplex Transmitter Licence – Application Fee) Determination 2008.
4              Definition
                In this Determination:
Act means the Radiocommunications Act 1992.
Note:      The following terms which are used in this Determination have the same meaning as in the Act:
·         foundation category 1 digital radio multiplex transmitter licence
·         foundation category 2 digital radio multiplex transmitter licence
5              Amount of application fee – foundation category 1 digital radio multiplex transmitter licence
                For paragraph 102C (2) (b) of the Act, the amount of the application fee for a foundation category 1 digital radio multiplex transmitter licence is $460.
6              Amount of application fee – foundation category 2 digital radio multiplex transmitter licence
For paragraph 102D (2) (b) of the Act, the amount of the application fee for a foundation category 2 digital radio multiplex transmitter licence is $460.
