Approval – Alternative Means of Compliance (AMOC) against paragraph (l)(4) of Federal Aviation Administration Airworthiness Directive (FAA AD) 2009-26-11 for Thrush Aircraft Inc. S2R Series Aircraft.
1          Duration
                 This instrument:
(a)               commences on 8 June 2012; and
(b)               ceases to have effect if FAA AD 2009-26-11 is amended or cancelled.
2          Application
                 This instrument applies to a registered operator who operates a Thrush Aircraft Inc. S2R series aircraft mentioned in AD 2009-26-11 issued by the FAA that have had the wing front lower spar cap P/N 20207-XX replaced using a CASA approved procedure.
3          AMOC
                 I approve, as a means of compliance with the AD, other than that set out in the AD, the following:
(a)    for a Thrush Aircraft Inc. S2R series aircraft the use of CASA approved wing front lower spar cap replacement procedure as an alternative to an FAA approved replacement procedure or that provided by the manufacturer at delivery of the airplane stated at paragraph (l)(4) of FAA AD 2009-26-11.
All other requirements stated in the AD are applicable.
