Family Law Act 1975
I, QUENTIN BRYCE, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and under subsection 40 (2) of the Family Law Act 1975, fix 11 February 2012 as the date on and after which the jurisdiction of the Family Court of Australia under paragraph 31 (1) (aa) of the Family Law Act 1975 can be exercised, in all proceedings, in the following States and Territories:
(a)   New South Wales;
(b)   Victoria;
(c)   Queensland;
(d)   South Australia;
(e)   Tasmania;
(f)    Australian Capital Territory;
(g)   Northern Territory;
(h)   Norfolk Island.
