Exemption — Jetstar Boeing 787-8 aircraft passive participation in land and hold short operations
1          Duration
                 This instrument
(a)   commences on the day of registration; and
(b)   expires at the end of 30 November 2016, as if it had been repealed by another instrument.
2          Definition
                 In this instrument:
passive participation has the same meaning as in Civil Aviation Order 40.0.
3          Application
                 This instrument applies:
(a)   to an air traffic services (ATS) provider, within the meaning of regulation 172.015 of CASR 1998; and
(b)   for passive participation in land and hold short operations, at pilot discretion, using Boeing 787-8 series aircraft operated by Jetstar Airways Pty Limited, Aviation Reference Number 510654.
4          Exemption
        (1)     An ATS provider is exempt from compliance with paragraph 172.065 (1) (a) of CASR 1998 to the extent mentioned in subsection (2).
        (2)     The exemption applies only to the standard set out in subsection 10.13.5.4 of the Manual of Standards Part 172.
