SPECIFICATION OF UNITED NATIONS SECURITY COUNCIL RESOLUTIONS
(REGULATION 4 DEFINITION OF ‘RESOLUTION’)
 
 
I, TONY BURKE, Minister for Immigration, Multicultural Affairs and Citizenship, acting under regulation 4, definition of ‘resolution’, in the Migration (United Nations Security Council Resolutions) Regulations 2007 (‘the Regulations’):
 
1.         REVOKE Instrument number IMMI 12/120 signed on 16 May 2013; and
 
2.         SPECIFY the following resolutions and every person named in accordance with each of those resolutions to be a UNSC-designated person for the purposes of regulation 5 of the Regulations:
 
 
·                     United Nations Security Council Resolution 1267 (1999) concerning Al-Qaida and the Taliban and associated individuals and entities, adopted on 15 October 1999.
·                     United Nations Security Council Resolution 1333 (2000) concerning Al-Qaida and the Taliban and associated individuals and entities, adopted on 19 December 2000.
·                     United Nations Security Council Resolution 1390 (2002) concerning Al-Qaida and the Taliban and associated individuals and entities, adopted on 16 January 2002.
·                     United Nations Security Council Resolution 1526 (2004) concerning Al-Qaida and the Taliban and associated individuals and entities, adopted on 30 January 2004.
