I, SOPHIE MONTGOMERY, Assistant Secretary, Education, Tourism and International Arrangements Branch, Delegate of the Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, acting under subparagraph 1236(2)(a)(iv) of the Migration Regulations 1994  (‘the Regulations’) hereby specify the following class of persons for the purpose of subparagraph 1236(2)(a)(iv):
 
(a)        delegates entering Australia on the Subclass 600 (Business stream) visa who are attending and participating in the General Assembly and Council of Delegates Meetings of the Red Cross / Red Crescent Movement.
 
For the purpose of this Instrument:
 
The “General Assembly and Council of Delegates Meetings of the Red Cross / Red Crescent Movement” is an event held in Sydney from 9 November 2013 to 19 November 2013.
 
“Delegate” means a person who will be entering Australia for the purposes of attending and participating in the General Assembly and Council of Delegates Meetings of the Red Cross / Red Crescent Movement.
 
This Instrument, IMMI 13/084 commences on 5 July 2013 and ceases on 1 December 2013.
