1              Name of instrument
                This instrument is the National Capital Plan – Amendment 79 – Removal of West Basin Pedestrian Bridge.
2              Commencement
                This instrument commences on the date of its registration.
3              Amendment of National Capital Plan
                Schedule 1 amends the National Capital Plan.
 
 
 
Schedule 1        National Capital Plan Amendment 79 – Removal of West Basin Pedestrian Bridge
The National Capital Plan (the Plan) is amended by the following
Part 2: National Capital Plan Amendment 79 –
Removal of West Basin Pedestrian Bridge
 
The National Capital Plan is amended by the following:
Part Two Administration and Implementation
a.                   Amend the Plan to recognise consequential changes of Amendment 79 to page numbers, section titles and contents page.
Appendices
Appendix T7: City Hill Precinct
 
b.                  Delete figure titled ‘Indicative development: an aerial perspective looking northwest towards the National Triangle’ on page T7:16 and replace with the following figure:

 
c.                   Delete figure titled ‘An artist’s impression of City Hill Park looking towards the National Triangle’ on page T7:17 and replace with the following figure:
Appendix T9: West Basin
d.                  Amend paragraph three under section titled ‘Waterfront Promenade’ on page T9:7 to read as follows:
“Link national attractions with a continuous pedestrian network.”

e.                   Delete figure titled ‘Indicative Waterfront Promenade’ on page T9:7 and replace with the following figure:
f.                   Delete figure titled ‘Indicative Cycleways and Ferry’ on page T9:8 and replace with the following figure:
 
g.                  Delete figure titled ‘Indicative Development’ on page T9:14 and replace with the following figure:
h.                  Delete figure titled ‘West Basin – Extending the city to the lake and waterfront promenade’ on page T9:15 and replace with the following figure:
