Guidelines for the use of the word ‘university’ in company names (Revocation) Instrument 2013
I, Chris Evans, Minister for Tertiary Education, Skills, Science and Research, for the purposes of subregulation 2B.6.02(4) and 5B.3.02(4) of the Corporations Regulations 2001, revoke the Guidelines for the use of the word ‘university’ in company names.

Guidelines for the use of the word ‘university’ in company names (Revocation) Instrument 2013
(i) CITATION
This legislative instrument may be cited as the Guidelines for the use of the word ‘university’ in company names (Revocation) Instrument 2013.
(ii) AUTHORITY
This legislative instrument is made for the purposes of subregulation 2B.6.02(4) and 5B.3.02(4) of the Corporations Regulations 2001.
(iii) COMMENCEMENT
This legislative instrument commences on the day after it is registered.
(iv) REVOCATION
The Guidelines for the use of the word ‘university’ in company names (F2007L03885) dated 20 September 2007 and commenced on 28 September 2007 (the Former Guidelines) and all subsequent amendments are revoked.
(v) TRANSITIONAL ARRANGEMENTS
The revocation of the Former Guidelines does not affect the validity of consents granted by the Minister when the Former Guidelines were applied under subregulation 2B.6.02(4) and 5B.3.02(4) of the Corporations Regulations 2001. Consent granted by the Minister when the Former Guidelines were applied under subregulations 2B.6.02(4) and 5B.3.02(4) of the Corporations Regulations 2001 is taken to continue to have effect.
