Variation to Licence Area Plan – Colac Radio – No.1 of 2013
1. Enabling legislation
The Australian Communications and Media Authority makes this instrument under subsection 26(2) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.
2. Name of Instrument
This instrument is the Variation to Licence Area Plan – Colac Radio – No.1 of 2013.
3. Commencement
This instrument commences the day after it is registered.

4. Variation
The Licence Area Plan – Colac Radio – June 2000 determined by the Australian Broadcasting Authority on 22 June 2000 is varied as follows:
(a)          rename the instrument as “Licence Area Plan – Colac Radio”;
(b)          amend the heading on the title page so that it reads “Licence Area Plan – Colac Radio”;
(c)          on page one:
(i)            amend the heading so that it reads “Licence Area Plan – Colac Radio”;
(ii)          omit the sub-heading “Determination”;
(iii)        omit clause (1) and substitute the following clauses:
“(1)      This plan for radio broadcasting services in the Colac area of Victoria is made under subsection 26(1) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.”
(iv)        in clauses (2) and (3) omit the word “Determination” or “determination” wherever occurring and substitute the word “plan”;
(d)         omit Schedule One and substitute Schedule One of this instrument;
(e)          in each of Attachments 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, and 1.5, omit the heading “Licence Area Plan : Colac – June 2000” and substitute the heading “Licence Area Plan : Colac Radio”;
(f)           in Attachment 1.2, following  “Nominal Location” omit “ROSSMOYNE” and substitute “Radio 3CS AM Array Midpoint  Ace Radio Bcers Site  Corangamite Lake Rd  ROSSMOYNE”;
(g)          in Attachment 1.2, following  “Australian Map Grid Reference” omit “Zone 54  Easting 721601  Northing 5755202”, and substitute “Zone 54  Easting 721416  Northing 5755238”;
(h)          in Attachment 1.3, following  “Nominal location” omit “WARRION HILL” and substitute “Broadcast / Comms Tower  Ace Radio Bcers site  off Warrion Hill Rd  WARRION HILL”;
(i)            in Attachment 1.4, following  “Transmitter site Nominal location” omit “WYELANGTA” and substitute “Country Fire Authority Tower WYELANGTA”;
(j)            in Attachment 1.5 following  “Nominal location” omit “MT COWLEY” and substitute “Comm Site  Sabine Rd  MT COWLEY”;
(k)          in Attachment 1.5, following  “Special Condition” omit “The service is interference limited, only field strength levels of 66 dBμV/m and above will be protected from interference.” and substitute “Any transmission in accordance with this technical specification is planned on the basis that it will be protected to a minimum median field strength level of 66 dBuV/m against interference from other broadcasting services.”
(l)            in each of Attachments 1.6 and 1.9, following  “Nominal location” omit “ACE Broadcast site  WARRION HILL” and substitute “Broadcast / Comms Tower  Ace Radio Bcers site  off Warrion Hill Rd  WARRION HILL”;
(m)        in each of Attachments 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, and 1.9, following  “Site Tolerance” omit “Refer to Technical Planning Guidelines” and substitute “Refer to Broadcasting Services (Technical Planning) Guidelines 2007”; and
(n)          omit Attachments 1.1, 1.7 and 1.8 and substitute Attachments 1.1, 1.7 and 1.8 of this instrument.
