Exemption — refuelling in Ordinance Loading Areas (Pel-Air Aviation)
1          Duration
                 This instrument:
(a)   commences on the day of registration; and
(b)   expires at the end of October 2017, as if it had been repealed by another instrument.
2          Repeal
                 Instrument CASA EX129/11 is repealed.
3          Application
                 This instrument applies to Pel-Air Aviation Pty Limited, Aviation Reference Number 227573 (the operator), when conducting fuelling operations in an Ordinance Loading Area (OLA) at a Royal Australian Air Force base in Australia.
4          Exemption
                 An aircraft operated by the operator is exempt from compliance with subregulations 235 (7), (7A) and (8) of the Civil Aviation Regulations 1988 (CAR 1988) to the extent of the direction contained in subparagraph 4.1.1 (d) of Civil Aviation Order 20.9.
5          Conditions
                 The exemption is subject to the conditions mentioned in Schedule 1.
Schedule 1          Conditions
        1     This exemption applies only to the fuelling of the operator’s Westwind or Learjet type aircraft engaged in Australian Defence Force (ADF) support operations.
        2     The fuelling operations must be carried out by trained ADF personnel in accordance with the established procedures for refuelling in an OLA.
        3     The equipment installed in an OLA must be serviceable.
