I, KIRSTY FAICHNEY, delegate of the Minister for Health, make these Rules under item 3 of the table in section 333-20 of the Private Health Insurance Act 2007.

Part 1          Preliminary
1.                       Name of Rules
These Rules are the Private Health Insurance (Complying Product) Amendment Rules 2014 (No. 6). 
2.                       Commencement
These Rules commence on:
(a)                    20 September 2014; or
(b)                   if registered after 20 September 2014, the day after registration.
3.                       Amendment of the Private Health Insurance (Complying Product) Rules 2010 (No. 2)
The Schedule amends the Private Health Insurance (Complying Product) Rules 2010 (No. 2) as amended.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Schedule
[1]     Part 2, Paragraph 8A(3)(a)
 
              Delete subparagraphs 8A(3)(a)(ii) – 8A(3)(viii), substitute:
 
(ii)               New South Wales - $56.50;
(iii)             Northern Territory - $56.50;
(iv)             Queensland - $56.50;
(v)               South Australia - $56.50;
(vi)             Tasmania - $56.50;
(vii)           Victoria - $56.50;
(viii)         Western Australia - $56.50;

Delete paragraph 8A(3)(b), substitute:
 
(b) in relation to a nursing-home type patient at a private hospital, $56.50.
