1  Name of regulation
                   This regulation is the Export Inspection (Service Charge) Amendment (Exportable Goods) Regulation 2014.
2  Commencement
                   This regulation commences on 1 September 2014.
3  Authority
                   This regulation is made under the Export Inspection (Service Charge) Act 1985.
4  Schedules
                   Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.
Schedule 1—Amendments
  
Export Inspection (Service Charge) Regulations 1985
1  Regulation 3
Insert:
egg has the same meaning as in the Export Control (Eggs and Egg Products) Orders 2005.
egg product has the same meaning as in the Export Control (Eggs and Egg Products) Orders 2005.
fish has the same meaning as in the Export Control Act 1982.
fish product has the same meaning as in the Export Control (Fish and Fish Products) Orders 2005.
2  Regulation 3 (definition of processed fruits and vegetables)
Repeal the definition.
3  At the end of regulation 3
Add:
Note:          Exportable goods is defined in section 4 of the Act.
4  Regulation 4
Repeal the regulation, substitute:
4  Exportable goods
                   For the definition of exportable goods in section 4 of the Act, the following goods are prescribed:
                     (a)  fish and fish products;
                     (b)  eggs and egg products.
5  Subregulation 5(4) (definition of year)
Repeal the definition, substitute:
year, for a kind of exportable goods, means 12 months commencing on the day the application is made for the first service for the kind of exportable goods.
6  Subregulation 5(5)
Repeal the subregulation, substitute:
             (5)  In counting the number of export inspection services in a year:
                     (a)  fish and fish products are treated as a single kind of exportable goods; and
                     (b)  eggs and egg products are treated as a single kind of exportable goods.
