ARRANGEMENTS FOR Work and Holiday and
Working Holiday VISA APPLICATIONS 2015

(Items 1224A and 1225 and paragraph 462.221(c))
 
 
I, MICHAELIA CASH, Assistant Minister for Immigration and Border Protection, acting under subregulation 2.07(5) of the Migration Regulations 1994 (the Regulations) for items 1224A and 1225 of Schedule 1 and paragraph 462.221(c) of Schedule 2 to the Regulations:
 
1.      REVOKE:
·      Instrument IMMI 07/084 (F2007L04105), signed on 17 October 2007, specifying a class of persons for paragraph 1224A(1)(a) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations; and
·      Instrument IMMI 07/085 (F2007L04111), signed on 17 October 2007, specifying a class of persons who do not have to provide evidence of government support for the grant of a visa for subparagraph 1224A(3)(b)(iii) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations; and
·      Instrument IMMI 09/008 (F2009L01343) signed on 6 April 2009, specifying classes of persons and foreign countries for subparagraph 1225(3)(b)(i) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations; and
·      Instrument IMMI 09/018 (F2009L01347) signed on 6 April 2009, specifying an address as the post office box address for paragraph 1225(3)(a) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations; and
·      Instrument IMMI 14/098 (F2014L01498) signed on 17 October 2014 specifying foreign countries, educational qualifications and addresses for item 1224A of Schedule 1 to the Regulations and paragraph 462.221(c) of Schedule 2 to the Regulations; and
·      Instrument IMMI 07/038 (F2007L02117) signed on 29 June 2007 specifying a class of persons for subparagraph 1224A(3)(c)(iii) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations; AND
 
2.    SPECIFY foreign countries for paragraph 1224A(3)(a) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations in Column 1 of Schedule 1 to this instrument; AND
 
3.    SPECIFY for subregulation 2.07(6) of Part 2 of the Regulations the following classes of applicant, and for subitem 1224A(1) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations the following approved forms, and for paragraph 1224A(3)(aa) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations place and manner for making an application for a Work and Holiday (Temporary)(Class US) visa:

Applications must be made at the addresses, specified in Column 3 or Column 4 of Schedule 1 to this instrument for the corresponding foreign country.

 
 
4.    SPECIFY for paragraph 1224A(3)(aa) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations postal addresses and street addresses for making an application in Column 3 and Column 4, respectively, in Schedule 1 to this instrument, for applicants who hold a valid passport issued by the corresponding foreign country set out in Column 1 of Schedule 1 to this instrument;
 
5.    SPECIFY for the purposes of subparagraph 1224A(3)(b)(iii) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations that persons who hold a valid passport issued by the United States of America are a class of persons who do not have to provide evidence of government support for grant of the visa;
 
6.    SPECIFY that a class of persons for the purposes of subparagraph 1224A(3)(c)(iii)of Schedule 1 to the Regulations is holders of passports issued by the Islamic Republic of Iran;
 
7.    SPECIFY, for the purposes of paragraph 462.221(c) of Schedule 2 to the Regulations, the educational qualifications in relation to the corresponding specified foreign country in Column 2 of Schedule 1 to this instrument;
 
8.    SPECIFY the following approved forms for subitem 1225(1) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations and the following place and manner for making an application for subitem 1225(3) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations for a Working Holiday (Temporary)(Class TZ) visa:
