I, General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Ret’d), Governor‑General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and under items 4, 11 and 14 of the table in subsection 2(1) of the Migration and Maritime Powers Legislation Amendment (Resolving the Asylum Legacy Caseload) Act 2014, fix 18 April 2015 as the day on which Division 2 of Part 1 of Schedule 2, Schedule 4, and Part 2 of Schedule 5 to that Act commence.
