AN ACT to amend the International Business Corporations Act
(Cap. 222).

[ 17th March, 1997 ]

ENACTED by the Parliament of Antigua and Barbuda as fol-
lows -

1. This Act may be cited as the Intemational Business Corpora- shat tide.
tions (Amendment) Act 1997.

2. Section 238 of the International Business Corporations Act Amendment of
(Cap. 222), in this Act referred to as the principal Act, is amended section 238 of QP.
by deleting the words "one million United States dollars" and 222.
substituting the words "five million United States dollars''.

BARBUDA

Amendment of 3. Section 282 of the principal Act is amended as follows -
sadion 282 of the
principal Act.

(i) in paragraph (4, by deleting the words "an amount
equal to five thousand United States dollars" and
substituting the words "fifteen thousand United States
dollars",

(ii) in paragraph (b), by deleting the words "an amount
equal to two thousand five hundred United States
dollars" and substituting the words "seven thousand
five hundred United States dollars";

(iii) in paragraph (c), by deleting the words "an amount
equal to two thousand five hundred United States
dollars" and substituting the words "ten thousand
United States dollars";

(iv) in paragraph (d), by deleting the words "an amount
equal to two hundred and fifty United States dollars"
and substituting the words "three hundred United
Statesdollafs".
