1. This Act may be cited as the Delegation of Powers short title.
(Registrar) Act.

2. In this Act- Interpretation.

"Registrar" means the Registrar of the High Court by
whatever name he may be referred to in any of
the laws set out in the Schedule to this Act.

3. (1) Wherever in any of the laws specified in the Delegation of
powers.

Schedule to this Act the Registrar is authorised and em-
powered to perform any duties or exercise any powers or
functions, he may, by Notice under his hand, depute any
officer in his department by name, or the person for the time
being holding the office designated by him, to do and per-
form all or any of the acts, matters and things which by any

of the said laws are vested in or required or authorised to
be done, executed and performed by the Registrar, subject
to any general or special directions or limitations as he may
impose in such Notice, and subject as aforesaid, any such
act, matter or things done or performed by such officer shall
be as valid and effective as if the same were done, executed
and performed by the Registrar.

(2) Any delegation made by virtue of this Act shall be
revocable by the Registrar in writing and no such delega-
tion shall prevent the exercise or performance by the Registrar
of any of the powers matters, acts or things vested in him
by the said laws.

(3) Every Notice so made by the Registrar shall be
published in the Gazette and be effective as and from the date
of the making thereof.
