COINAGE (UNITED KINGDOM COINS
DEMONETIZATION)

(12th September, 1967.) 4011967.

1. This Act may be cited as the Coinage (United Short title.
Kingdom Coins Demonetization) Act.

2. As from the 1st day of November, 1967, the United :'fe;;;;p,Yn
Kingdom coins specified in the First Schedule shall not be ~ i ~ ~ d ~ ~ coins.
legal tender in Antigua and Barbuda.

3. The Proclamations issued under the Coinage Acts :;;tion
1870-1946 of the Parliament of the United Kingdom which Proclamations.
are specified in the Second Schedule shall be revoked in their
application to Antigua and Barbuda as from the 1st day of
November, 1967.
