BOATS REGULATION

(23rd May, 1933.)

1. This Act may be cited as the Boats Regulation Act. Short title.

2. In this Act- Interpretation.
6' person" includes any person whether a licensed porter

or waterman or not;

"vessel" includes any ship or boat or any other descrip-
tion of vessel or thing used in navigation;

' < waters" includes the territorial sea.

3. The Cabinet may make regulations for the regula- Re~lat ions -
tion of all traffic, boats and persons in and upon the waters
and vessels therein, and generally for carrying this Act into
effect.

Penalties. 4. Any person who acts in contravention of or fails
to comply with any of the provisions of any regulations made
under this Act shall, upon summary conviction, be liable
to a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars or to imprison-
ment with or without hard labour for a term not exceeding
three months.
