T H E BILLS O F HEALTH (FEES) ACT

BILLS OF HEALTH (FEES)

1. This Act may be cited as the Bills of Health (Fees) Short
Act.

2. The Harbour Master, or such other officer as the Eli", ~o;'tt:~;r
Governor-General shall appoint to issue Bills of Health, shall
be and is hereby authorized to demand and receive for each
Bill of Health issued by him the fees following, and such
fees shall be paid into the Public Treasury to the credit of
the general revenue-

For Bills of Health issued to ships of 50 tons
burthen and upwards . . . . . .. .. 96 cents

For Bills of Health issued to ships of under
50 tons burthen, other than ships
hereinafter exempted. . . . . 48 cents

For Bills of Health issued to aircraft.. . . 96 cents

2 CAP. 49) Bills of Health (Fees)

Exemptions. 3 . No fees shall be paid in respect of the issue of a
Bill of Health to-

(a) a ship of less than 25 tons burthen registered
in any part of the Leeward Islands;

(6) vessels of Her Majesty's Navy or of any foreign
Navy;

(c) aircraft belonging to Her Majesty or to any
foreign state.
