ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA

THE APPROPRIATION ACT, 2008.

No. 23 of 2008

AN ACT to provide for the services of Antigua and Barbuda for the year ending on 31st day of
December, 2009.

ENACTED by the Parliament of Antigua and Barbuda as follows:—

1. Short Title and Commencement

This Act may be cited as the Appropriation Act, 2008 and shall come into operation on the 1st
January, 2009.

2. Issue of nine hundred and thirteen million, five hundred and seventy-nine thousand, six
hundred and eighty dollars. Schedule

The issue from the Consolidated Fund of the sum of nine hundred and thirteen million, five hundred
and seventy-nine thousand, six hundred and eight dollars ($913,579, 680.00) is authorized in order
to meet expenditure for the services of Antigua and Barbuda in respect of calendar year ending on
the thirty-first day of December, 2009, under the Heads of Expenditure specified in the Schedule;
and the sum specified in the Schedule opposite a numbered and named Head is appropriated out of

the sum of nine hundred and thirteen million, five hundred and seventy-nine thousand, six hundred
and eight dollars ($913,579,680.00) for the purpose specified in relation to that number and named
Head in the Estimates for the year 2009.

3. Payment out of Consolidated Fund

The Accountant General is authorized and required, from time to time upon the order or warrant of
the Minister of Finance, to pay the sums appropriated in the Schedule to the several services and
purposes mentioned as the order or warrant directs out of the Consolidated Fund without further
order or formality.
